I strongly believe that by being carful with the choice of materials it is possible to create a home or commercial building that is both thermally efficient good for ones health whilst providing habitat for biodiversity:

The image above of the extension to High Dyke House for the Wild Roof Company embraces this ideology in its materials. When I came to this development it was being built on a building notice with twinleaf block walls and cavity insulation.

I then greened up the development much to the client’s satisfaction.

The materials I choose were:

Vencel Jablite Premium floorboard used to dry line the walls

Fermacell wallboard with FST

Wood wool insulation

I section rafters

Cellulose infill insulation

etc...
